People often ask me how I got into this niche of my work? What I share in this video pretty much sums it up. It was my own motherhood, watching my friends have babies, learning more about our bodies, what they’re capable of, and realizing the massive deficit in care for women, particularly related to pregnancy and postpartum and pelvic health in general. Melissa and Courtney share this passion for not settling for feeling less than our best. Recently someone told me the Jim Collins’ quote that “Good is the enemy of great” and I see that with moms ALL THE TIME! We put ourselves on the back burner for a variety of reasons and just settle for feeling ok. Have a listen to hear why it’s breaking my heart and what other mamas are telling me.

I have been on quite a journey this past year and have gotten really clear on what I want, what I will and won’t tolerate, what brings me joy, and how I can best serve others. These things help me feel ALIVE. They tell me I’m THRIVING and not just surviving. That is not just some cute rhyming statement I came up with. It is truly the heart of our mission at Moment of Truth Physical Therapy. Do you even remember the last time you felt like you were THRIVING? We will do whatever it takes to guide you on that journey, to offer resources to round out our services, to connect you with any other missing pieces you need, to pick you up when you don’t feel like enough. It’s completely possible and you deserve greatness!
