So this is super short but opens up a much larger conversation we need to be having. That starts with awareness and we can’t do that for each other. We HAVE to slow down enough to even make space to realize how we feel. Maybe we’re craving more touch. Maybe we feel like we haven’t been alone in 2.5 years. If the kids aren’t in the bathroom with us, the dogs probably are. They never nap at the same time and nursing the baby means that we’re holding or wearing her in some manner of never feeling fully dressed. Do we even bring up sleep or showers?

This impacts our health, our stress levels, our sanity and our relationships. If we don’t know how we feel, how can we possibly convey our needs to anyone around us? To say anymore would lead into quite a discussion but ladies, I’ll leave us with this: It has to start with us. We have to take time to check in with ourselves. Then we have to figure out how to communicate our discoveries to those around us. Awareness. Discover. Share!
